Opening Night: When Humans and Machines Collaborate (Live Event)

As machines are learning to write, compose, paint and perform all manner of artistic endeavours we have to ask the question, is it art? There is no doubt that machines create beautiful things but can we ascribe ‘creativity’, an intrinsically human quality, to its process and production? To launch Digital Writers’ Festival 2018, join artists and technologists who are at the fore of creatively collaborating with machines as we explore their projects, processes and thoughts on their collaborators.

With: Alisa Andrasek, Roslyn Helper and Jeremy Kraybill. Hosted by Izzy Roberts-Orr.
