Camila Galaz is a visual artist living in Melbourne, Australia. Through, photography, video, text, and drawing, her practice investigates intimate and personal connections to politics and resistance, and explores the role that memory and archive play in the shaping and performance of identity. She has exhibited across Australia and Los Angeles, including Bus Projects, Seventh, Blindside, Kings, Sister, Mailbox, C3, and MIA Gallery. She is the 2018 recipient of the MECCA M-Power Mentoring Scholarship, presented by National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) and MECCA Brands.
