Marisa Wikramanayake is a Sri Lanka born, Australia based freelance editor, writer and journalist. She published her first book at 17, was longlisted for the Kill Your Darlings Unpublished Manuscript Award and was the inaugural 2018 KSP – Varuna Foundation Fellow. She has covered science, politics and the arts and has most recently written for Bauer Media, Audrey Daybook and SBS. She also volunteers as an elected MEAA delegate and is currently working on a crime fiction novel called Gin and Tonic set in Sri Lanka.
