Trust Fall

In April 2018, researchers at Massachusetts Institute of Technology created the world’s first psychopathic AI. Around the same time, Cambridge Analytica breached the trust of Facebook users through collecting personal data. Digital technology has continuously raised concerns over privacy, safety, and authenticity. What this all boils down to is trust. Can we trust digital technology and the people using it?

Through a collection of artworks, audience members are encouraged to play with the concept of trust in the digital form. The artworks will explore the concept of trust in relation to user interaction:
